Who we are

NAMAL (Nigerian Advanced Manufacturing Alliance Limited) is a joint venture between the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and the MEMACO Alliance. Created to boost Nigeria’s industrial capacity in agriculture, food safety, and environmental health, NAMAL leverages public-sector innovation and private-sector dynamism. Our mission is to produce environmentally friendly, high-performance chemical products that support sustainable agriculture and food production across Nigeria. With manufacturing facilities being developed in each of the country’s six geopolitical zones, NAMAL will harness local natural resources and advanced technologies to produce premium organic fertilizers, animal feedstock additives, and medical-grade disinfectants.

What we do

The Process Begins Here

The process consists of removing the product from the lake bottom using a dredger, transporting it by a pipe to a nearby storage tanks; then the product is fermented and dried to remove the humidity and packaged making it ready to use by farmers.

The final product is an alternative to the chemical fertilizers and organic manure.

Depending on the quality of the extracted silt, different products can be made: natural fertilizers; fertilizing ameliorative mixtures; biofuel for power station; raw material for medical products...

Any waterways such as rivers and swamps can be beneficial to produce organic fertilizers.

The factory will be aligned with the below environmental criteria

Careful decontamination of lakes from bottom silt

Lake aqua sphere recovery

Lake life prolongation;

Fresh water stock gain in decontaminated lakes;

Fishery stock gain;

Reduces methane and carbon dioxide emissions and allows to get carbon credit.

No turbidity is caused in the lake while dredging

Only sediments with natural moisture are removed without additional water

Lake dredging has many ecological benefits to the lake as it contributes to riving the lake by preserving the fauna and flora living in the lake’s ecosystem and maintaining aquatic life; moreover a clean lake helps in regulating the climate in the surrounding area thus all the ecosystems surrounding the lake will benefit from the cleaning process.

The lake specifications:

The lake should be natural
There shall not be any trace of pollution in the lake in terms of waste water, chemicals or heavy metal residues.
The ideal scenario is to have a natural lake, but swamps and rivers can be used even water dams can be used but they are not the best way to go as dams require special dredging material due to high water volumes.
